Homestay tour and cultural on the Uros floating island (2D/1N)
DESCRIPTION:
DAY 1:
At 10.00 a.m. Our guide pick you up from your hotels in Puno, to go behind to the Small port between Libertador and Ecco Inn Hotels, (15 min from the city of Puno) where we board a small motor boat, which will take us along the way, we will amazing the wildlife and flora of the National Reserve of Lake Titicaca. After travel approx. 20 min, arrive at the famous floating Islands of Uros “Kantati”.
Where the local families will give us a warm welcome, comfortable facility prepared by them, Local families will give us an explanation of the construction, traditions, and way of life of Uros inhabitants.
Then, we will have a delicious lunch prepared by the same locals, in the afternoon; we will travel on a reed boat with families to put fishing nets (fishing). then, see we will see how cut the reeds (for the construction of the same islands, handicrafts, etc.) the inhabitants themselves will teach you to make your own crafts made from reeds, dinner and overnight on the island in the middle of Lake Titicaca.
DAY 2:
The first activity before breakfast, we will pick up our fishing net and see the diversity of native fish of Lake Titicaca, after this activity will have a typical breakfast the place, finally return to the city with Puno.
If want, you can continue your journey to Taquile Island or to Amantani Island.

Overview of the Homestay Tour on the Uros Floating Island (2D 1N)
On this tour, we will visit to the one of the famous Floating Island, Called “kantati”. One of more than 85 small islands in an extraordinary archipelago of floating reed islands populated by the Uros, on the Lake Titicaca.
